The History of

Wu Ji Jing Gong Tai Chi is a distinguished school of Chinese martial arts that emphasizes the transition from external power to internal strength. Rooted in the foundational principles of Taijiquan (Tai Chi), this practice prioritizes the dual skills of attack and defense while focusing on health and well-being. By integrating in-depth research into Taijiquan theories and related philosophies, Wu Ji Jing Gong achieves a harmonious balance between theoretical understanding and practical application.

Founded by Master Chen Jisheng, a dedicated martial artist from Tangshan, Hebei Province, Wu Ji Jing Gong Tai Chi benefits from his extensive training under highly respected instructors. Master Chen’s commitment to honing his skills has preserved the essence of Taijiquan, making this school a vital part of the broader landscape of Chinese martial arts. Through its focus on health and practical martial defense, Wu Ji Jing Gong is an excellent choice for those seeking a balanced approach to martial arts practice.

Benefits of Qi Gong

Qi Gong is an ancient practice that harmonizes the mind, body, and spirit through gentle movements, relaxed breathing, and meditation. One of the primary benefits of Qi Gong is its ability to promote overall well-being. By improving circulation, boosting immunity, and enhancing flexibility, practitioners often find themselves feeling more energized and revitalized. Additionally, the mindful approach of Qi Gong helps reduce stress and anxiety, leading to a greater sense of emotional balance and well-being. As individuals engage in these flowing movements, they become more attuned to their bodies, cultivating both physical strength and mental clarity.

I've really been enjoying the Monday night Qigong classes with Patty. As someone who works during the day, I'm so grateful that she offers the class online via Zoom—it's convenient and something I truly look forward to each week. I had been searching for a Qigong class for a while, and Patty's sessions have been exactly what I needed. She takes the time to guide you through each movement, helping you not only understand the form but also truly feel the flow of Qi within your body. It's a beautiful, grounding way to start the week, and I always come away feeling more centered, relaxed, and connected. If you've been thinking about trying Qigong or are simply looking for a way to bring more calm and balance into your life, I highly recommend giving her class a try.
